Directions from Newtown Bypass: Take the new A483 Newtown Bypass and exit from the roundabout onto A489 to Kerry, sign posted A49 Craven Arms. After 1 mile, just before you enter Kerry, take the right turning sign posted The Forest into Gilfach Lane. Follow the narrow winding lane for approximately 3/4 and the entrance to The Forest Cottages has black metal gates and is on the left, just past the brook.
Directions from Ludlow: Take the A49 to Craven Arms and then the A489 towards Newtown. drive through Kerry village and Gilfach Lane is the first left turning after you exit the village, sign posted The Forest.
Directions from Dolfor - Cefn Lea : Take the A483 towards Newtown but at Dolfor church take the right fork straight ahead and follow for 3 miles. On the bend take the right fork down to the bottom and then turn right.
The road leading up to The Forest is a typical single width country lane with passing points along the way. Large 3 axle vehicles have successfully navigated the road to our property and there space to turn around. The approach to the house is over a cattle grid.
